After studying animation at Southampton Institute - now  Southampton Solent University - I was lucky enough to get my  first industry experience working for Bob Godfrey of “Roobarb  and Custard” fame, and spent the next few years working on  various animated TV series both for children and adults.  (Monkey Dust, Modern Toss, 2DTV, The Secret Show, Yoko  Jakamoko Toto, and others.)    More recently, I’ve been involved in a broader variety of  projects, including creating short films to clients’  requirements, creating visuals for interactive animations for  corporate presentations, and directing the animation for TV  commercials. My professional experience also includes  storyboarding, animation design, layout and editing.       Although I always enjoy working on cartoon-type material, I  believe there is much untapped potential in animation as a  tool for communication and education. With new technology and  new outlets for visual media appearing almost daily, The  possibilities for both linear and interactive animation are  now greater than ever.  I’m used to working both independently and as part of a team,  and am equally happy being involved in a project and providing  creative input from inception through to completion, or  concentrating on the animation alone.   This is a rare photo of me away from my computer.                      dennis@sisterson.co.uk 07747 107 406
